Please help! There is a pet over-population crisis in this
country. Every day thousands of healthy, adoptable pets are needlessly
killed.
Charlyne's Pound Puppies is a non-profit rescue group run by volunteers.
Our founder, Charlyne McDaniel, began her crusade to help abandoned dogs and
cats 20 years ago. We rescue animals from Thorndale, TX and the
greater Austin surrounding areas.

Thank you to everyone that found it in their hearts to donate
to Amaya. You will be glad to know that she is doing well in her
new home. The vet was not able to save her leg but she doesn't
seem to mind. Although, she had lots to say during all the vet
visits to change her bandages and medicine. Her new name is
Bunny which came from her dependence on pushing off with her
back legs... kind of "rabbit like".

All our dogs and cats must be spayed or neutered. We provide these
animals with love, medical care, and foster homes until we can find them
adoptive families.
